How WatchX handles data
1. Publishing responsibility
This page concerns the WatchX mobile application, published by Vincent Gengembre.
For any privacy, support, or rights-related request, you can write to pro.gengembre.vincent@gmail.com.
2. Nature of the service
WatchX is an iPhone and Apple Watch application that transfers selected photos from iPhone to a secure local gallery on Apple Watch.
Access to the gallery on the watch is protected by a 4-digit PIN synchronized from the iPhone.
3. Data that may be processed
Depending on how you use the app, WatchX may process selected photos, synchronization states, local configuration data, and technical elements required for communication between iPhone and Apple Watch.
The PIN is not intended to be stored in clear text, and the app relies on local storage and synchronization mechanisms appropriate for iOS and watchOS.
4. Purposes of processing
Data is used to synchronize photos, protect access to the gallery on the watch, display setup state, and provide requested support.
WatchX is not intended to use personal data for advertising purposes.
5. Data retention
Photos and related local data remain stored on the user's devices for as long as needed to use the service, until deleted by the user, reset in the app, or erased from the watch.
Some transient technical data may be recreated automatically during later synchronizations.
6. Security
WatchX implements reasonable security measures to protect local data, including PIN-protected access to the gallery and the use of storage mechanisms available on Apple platforms.
Overall security also depends on protecting your devices, your Apple account, and the security settings enabled on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction regarding your data where those rights apply.
